Description
Queen's The Miracle is the band's thirteenth studio album, released on 22 May 1989. It was their first album since A Kind of Magic in 1986, and their last studio album released before the death of lead singer Freddie Mercury in 1991.
The album was recorded between 1987 and 1989, at Mercury's home studio in Montreux, Switzerland, and at Sarm West Studios in London. It was produced by the band themselves, with David Richards.
The Miracle is a mix of rock, pop, and electronic music, with a more experimental sound than previous Queen albums. The album features a number of hit singles, including "I Want It All", "Scandal", "The Miracle", and "Breakthru".
The album was a critical and commercial success, reaching number one in the UK and number four in the US. It was nominated for Best Album at the 1990 Grammy Awards.
The Miracle is a strong album that showcases Queen's versatility and creativity. It is a must-have for any fan of the band.
